From Fabulous Fourth Fridays where everyone pitches in to clean the office and the management team walks around to serve fun treats, to Company Celebrations where Julie and Joe, the CEO and President, serve everyone breakfast after announcing that month’s birthdays and work anniversaries, Knowledge Services is dedicated to creating a great company culture. We believe in working hard and having fun along the way! The video, photos and information below provide a glimpse into our company culture by highlighting some of our wonderful employees, ongoing events and programs and memorable moments.

Build Success Program

Our mission and values have always been the foundation of how we operate and conduct business. However, as we continue to grow, we felt it was important to expand on those statements, so we implemented what we call our Build Success Program. It represents four principles that are consistently at the core of our company culture. These values are practiced on a daily basis in order to ensure that we continuously improve and serve ourselves and others well.  These four fundamental values are outlined below.

Wellness Program

In an effort to establish a proactive approach to maintaining a healthy and productive staff, our company established a Wellness Program in which employees may voluntarily participate to improve their overall health and wellness. Whether it is physically, mentally, emotionally, financially or otherwise, we can all benefit from the guidance and knowledge that a Wellness Program provides. A healthy lifestyle is a winning plan for both our company and our staff. It supports the physical and financial future wellbeing of both. Our Wellness Program includes monthly lunch and learns, challenges, theme days and awareness events. We also host the Office Olympics once a year, which includes fun daily events over a week’s time. Events in the past have included a Wii bowling tournament, an Old Maid card tournament and corn hole.

Philanthropic Areas We Support

At Knowledge Services, one of our foundational pillars is service–not only service to each other and to our clients, but also in support of our community. Knowledge Services is honored to support the following deserving organizations.

The mission of the of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in our local community. Toys for Tots helps millions of children each year experience the excitement of receiving gifts for Christmas. Each year, we are honored to help support their mission by having two or more boxes around the office for employees to donate toys leading up to Christmas.

Each year for Christmas, Knowledge Services participates in the Adopt-a-Family program put on by a local church. The Adopt-a-Family program provides gifts to families that might otherwise go without. Each family is contacted to find out sizes and needs of each family member. Items on their list are individually written on gift tags and hung from a Christmas tree in our office. Employees rally together to purchase and wrap gifts and deliver them several weeks before Christmas. We’re always excited to drop of our gifts to these wonderful families!

The Light the Night Walk is a fundraising campaign of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), which brings together families and communities to honor blood cancer survivors, as well as remember those lost to the diseases and bring awareness to the importance of finding cures and providing access to treatments for blood cancer patients. For the past two years, Knowledge Services has been honored to participate in the Light the Night Walk in October.

In the months leading up to the Walk, we plan different activities to raise funds for this amazing organization. Fundraising events include, Summer Olympics, a luncheon with silent auction, weekly fun activities, Penny Wars, and many more. Below are pictures highlighting some of the fun we’ve had as a team supporting LLS.
